Infrared sauna and bio sauna in the Alps
The town of St. Moritz is a popular ski resort in Switzerland. Among the 12 most known resorts it is the one where famous people enjoy winter months in luxury.
Our St. Moritz client has already bought a sauna from us, however since his wife and children do not like to go out in the cold to enjoy the sauna, he asked a sauna from us that meets the needs of his family.
Our client asked us to design a sauna unit with wall cover, artificial ceiling and complete sauna on the basis of the raw photo sent by him. Accordingly wall covers were made of American walnut veneer in the resting area as well as in the bedroom. The artificial ceiling is made of 3x3 walnut veneer panels. The aim was to combine the design with the natural feel of the wood and create a clean, friendly style sauna.
This is why we have chosen a uniquely built cabin that unites the deep therapy effects of the infrared sauna with the experience of steam and aroma therapy. The wife loves infrared sauna, since she can get rid of the extra kilos acquired after childbirth while keeping her skin flexible and the children can also use the sauna.
Since it is cold for six months in the Alps, it is important to keep the immune system of parents and children strong. The bio sauna function with Himalayan salt therapy is an excellent way to prevent illnesses or to cure them.
The built in steam generator can provide high humidity in law temperatures. The healing effects of steam may be boosted by placing herbs, volatile oils into the ceramic pot.
Himalayan salt strengthens the immune system and cleans the respiratory tracts with its 84 minerals and special microclimate.
A special feature of the sauna is the built in window, the American walnut veneer and the latest Infraworld combined sauna control.
We made the bio sauna in a way that we built the existing window around so that sauna users can enjoy the views of the mountains while being in the sauna. Besides the door and window the sauna got a bended glass so that it fits even better into its surroundings.
The American walnut veneer used for covering the sauna comes back on the side of the sauna as well giving a special atmosphere with the combination of Canadian Red Cedar.
A new feature of the combined steam saunas and sauna manufacturing is the multifunctional Infraworld sauna control. A touchscreen unit that controls the infrared sauna, steam sauna and the light therapy functions. Waterproof offering six different colors. Another unique feature is the ventilation function that provides perfect ventilation for the sauna after use.
We have very positive customer feedback, we are told that the family uses the infrared sauna and steam sauna functions twice a day.
