Philips Vitae infrared panel

Philips Vitae infrared panel to infrared sauna

The very essence of Infrared sauna treatment is the heating of tissues and the detoxification of the body. The deeper the infrared penetration in the skin is, the more powerful and efficient the above effects are. The depth of the penetration depends on the wavelength of infrared rays. Recently, both private and traditional health centres, have seen a boom in saunas. These are used in homeopathic and traditional medicine, cosmetics, hotels, guest houses, pools and spas, to mention but a few.

iSauna Manufacture cabins infrared radiation is ensured by the high-tech Philips Vitae infrared halogen lamp (IR lamp ).

The infrared lamp containing the heater element has a special parabolic mirror developed over long periods of experimentation. The mirror reflects infrawaves to the cabin enclosure with maximum efficiency, in this way ensuring perfect treatment and the controllability of the intensity of infrared rays. This means that the strain on your body can effectively be controlled through the position of the body and that of the heating element.

The product family of Philips Vitae infrared lamps (IR lamp) were specifically developed for infrared sauna; therefore, making the whole range of infrared wavelengths achievable for the best use of our cabins. This unique technology has been the most efficient among those available on the market nowadays. It ensures the deepest penetration in the tissues (5-6mm), with the help of short wave infrared rays.

The infrared wavelength range

The Hi-Tech Philips Vitae IR lamps’ radiation is optimal within the total range of infrared wavelength types (Type A, B and C IR radiation) - which is the most suitable for the human skin. Thus, in addition to the desired depth of penetration, it ensures optimal temperature sensation and the unconcentrated warming of the body, making the treatment more comfortable and effective. With the help of radiation of the total IR wavelength range and the consistent warming of the subcutaneous tissues, you can achieve effective detoxification.

Type A - Infrared short-wave radiation:

The Philips Vitae IR lamp IVA radiation corresponds to the sun’s IVA radiation. This ensures the efficient and pleasant warming of the top layer of your skin (also called subcutaneous tissues) which is 5 mm deep.

This results in a much higher temperature sensation of the body than the actual temperature of the enclosure. The human skin s natural ability to absorb radiation was one of the most important scientific factors taken into consideration during the design of the heating element.

Type B - Infrared medium-wave radiation:

The Philips Vitae IR lamp provides five times more IVB radiation than the sun. The IVB radiation ensures penetration into the depth of 3-4 mm in the skin, being responsible for the consistent warming of the subcutaneous tissues.

Type C - Infrared long-wave radiation:

In the nature, rays like these do not reach the surface of the Earth. The IVC waves only heat up the skin’s surface, without penetrating into the skin’s lower tissues. Since IVC waves’ penetration ability is lower than that of IVA waves, they are responsible for the stimulation of the pain sensors of the skin, thus, ensuring the safety of a bath in an IR sauna.

Advantages of Infraworld Saunas

It is applied for Combined saunas, Traditional saunas and Infrared saunas. The primary benefits of iSauna Manufacture products can be derived from the use of Philips Vitae IR heating elements and the intelligent wall control consoles with backlit LCD screen.

• Sectional efficiency and temperature control, electronic timer.
• Set IR radiation intensity and temperature on a percentage based scale.
• Divide IR radiation and temperature into two sections. Within these sections, setting is available both manually and automatically,in order to avoid extreme infrared radiation and to ensure a consistent and safe treatment for the human body
.
• The console is available for traditional Finnish sauna, infrared sauna and combined sauna cabins, as well.
• Choose from three languages, set time and date on the backlit LCD screen.
• Sound and light alarms call your attention to the fact that the treatment is over.
• Over 130 °Celsius, the intelligent wall control console stops the operation to keep you safe.

Do not waste time for pre-heating the sauna

Pre-heating of Philips Vitae IR lamps is not required. You can enjoy their beneficial effects as soon as they are switched on, meaning that you do not consume too much energy while warming them, in contrast to other low-budget heating elements (10 - 30minutes pre-heating time) or traditional Finnish saunas (45-60 minutes warming time).

The reason for this is that the heating element is surrounded by halogen gas, which enables the sauna to reach operating temperature and to cool down after having been used and switched off in no time. The lamp is, therefore, energy and time-saving and it works with high efficiency. In iSauna Manufacture infrared saunas (in contrast to Finnish saunas), the user’s body heats up directly, not through the temperature of the air in the cabin. Accordingly, a temperature of 40 to 65 °Celsius is sufficient for the optimal operation of the sauna.
