For our sauna manufactory, distance is not an obstacle!
In September 2021, our team completed it's second hot yoga sauna house project in the Seychelles.
The owner of a villa complex on this private island was delighted with the first hot yoga sauna house.
As a result, we received a further enquiry to add a hot yoga sauna house to the additional villa buildings. So our sauna building team was on the road again.
Hot yoga sauna house
The design of the hot yoga sauna house, the special packaging and the organisation of the delivery took several months.
The process of designing the custom sauna house progressed similarly of the first hot yoga sauna house. The production was followed by the special packaging, which had to meet the requirements for air transport.
No less important was the preparation done by our client, in which he was again a partner.
Custom sauna house delivery
The elements of the design sauna house were transported by truck to Rotterdam, from where they were flown by cargo plane to Dubai.
From Dubai, the sauna house elements were transported to the archipelago by a smaller aircraft.
The logistics and packaging of the elements were not easy due to the strict limits on package sizes.
Our construction team acclimatised after a journey of nearly 20 hours, then surveyed the prepared site and checked the condition of the delivered elements. The first days were spent unloading the tools and parts.
Special sauna house technology
The exterior facades of the building were profiled and prepared to receive the cladding, after which the Canadian red cedar panels began to be installed.
Aluminium windows were also installed with special reflective solar insulated glazing. This reflects UV rays and increases the intimacy of the sauna house.
The constant humidity of around 80% and the frequent rainfall during the day made the task difficult, but we still managed to keep to schedule!
Wellness sauna house experience
Much to the delight of the client, we managed to finish the project ahead of schedule, leaving time for a well-deserved rest.
